The brain of the trailer. Our modular Electrical Box contains a Renogy DC-DC dual battery solar charger, 1000W inverter, battery shutoff switch, and additional fuses and relays.
Rather than running off your tow vehicle battery, this allows you to add your own 100Ah Lead-Acid, AGM, or Lithium battery to power your trailer (there’s even room for 2 batteries if you want to maximize your trailers battery capacity). The Electrical Box also includes extra outlets (shore and inverter) and switches to control galley lights, side lights, USB’s/12v plug, the Fridge 12v plug, and the inverter.
While a trailer without the Electrical Box works while connected to your tow vehicle (running off your tow vehicles battery), to unlock the full potential of your trailer, the Electrical box is required.
